I've had a weekend of pottering around in the garden and doing a few chores - washing the kitchen floor, vacuuming my car etc . . . life in the fast lane!
I did take a few pictures in the garden yesterday.

Thoughts, observations, pictures and the odd rant collected during my twice daily walks in the East Anglian countryside with my dog, a collie/foxhound cross, my working day in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and time spent at home and out and about with the family.

Love the new blog DW, those photos are awesome. Your garden has come on a lot from the photos of the newly laid turf - looks great!
Evening DW I am new to this blogging lark and decided to look around at other blogs and found yours. The butterfly picture stunning colours any idea what type it is?
Hi Fegrig, I think it's a peacock butterfly. When I took this picture there was a whole load of them in the garden, but they wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get a shot.
