I've chopped off the heads so they can dry out and the birds can peck at the seeds through the winter.
It also gave me the chance to get close up and take some pictures. They're fantastic things, sunflowers - beautiful, shapes colours and patterns.





Thoughts, observations, pictures and the odd rant collected during my twice daily walks in the East Anglian countryside with my dog, a collie/foxhound cross, my working day in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and time spent at home and out and about with the family.
